Confirmed: Rick and Morty gets massive 70 episode order

I know I already posted this, but now it’s been pretty much confirmed and is all over Twitter and other sites.

70 episodes, that would put them at 101 once they’re all made I believe. I’d imagine they’re going for syndication, which is typically at 100 episodes of a series. Each season should be at LEAST 10 episodes, though hopefully more as long as they’re able to write them. The good thing is with an order this large, they can focus on writing and not have to constantly wonder if they’ll have another season. That became a problem with Community, having to write finales that could be for the season or the series.

BTW, I’m not at all worried about the quality dropping, because unlike some “fans” (99% of the time these “fans” are also alt-right/Trumpers) I didn’t start blindly shitting on the show as soon as more woman started writing for it.

Also, stop judging all Rick and Morty fans based on some assholes that got violent over some damn sauce (that Dan was rightfully pissed off about because it wasn’t even an official RaM promotion) or some dumb meme (the “you need a high iq to understand it” one) that keeps getting posted as if anyone with a brain actually thinks that way.

Season three was pretty good, it could have been better if they had been able to get the writing done in time to make the original intended 14 episodes (but Dan took responsibility for that), but claiming the female writers “ruined” it is absolutely pathetic. It wasn’t perfect, but no show is 100% perfect.

Even season one of Community wasn’t perfect.

One more thing: Do not spend the next 1-2 years spamming Dan, Justin, or the other writers bitching about it taking longer than a week to write and animate the next season. And never ever ever EVER compare making and animating this show to South Park again.

PLEASE.

I can’t wait for more Rick and Morty, 70 more *BURP* episodes Morty! 70!
